Rufftone Gets Re-appointed as Korea’s Goodwill Ambassador

Gospel musician Roy Smith Mwatia better know as Rufftone has once again be re-appointed to serve as athe goodwill ambassador of  Public Diplomacy for the Republic of Korea. A post that he previously held that entailed linking the Kenya and Korean through cultural advocacy.

The artist who is celebrated in the gospel industry in the country was feted in an official ceremony hosted at the Korean Embassy in Nairobi. Ki-Jun YOU, the charge d’affaires, handed the musician an appointment letter to allow him serve a second term as the Goodwill Envoy for Public Diplomacy.

The embassy official noted that the reason as to why the  appointed him to the post was because of the role he played on influencing Kenyan Youth in a positive way and due to the passion he showed in the previous one year he showed while working with them.

Together with his wife Crystal,Rufftone recently received his appointment letter in a colourful ceremony held at the Korean Embassy in Kenya and is  expected to take up his role as of today.
