The First International Football Break of the Season is Back

The international break is upon us. Though most major football leagues had already started not so recently with some on their fourth, third and second weeks since they commenced their 2016/2017 seasons.

The international break is a common norm in the world’s football calendar every year. During the commencement of major league seasons in August we get first three or four weeks of global league football. This is then interrupted by two international games every month until the end of November. This means six weeks of football is reserved and taken out of the league programme in the first four months by any given international breaks.
