Results for the Most Guarded K.C.P.E Exams are Out

It has been referred to as the most guarded examination in Kenyan history. The reason according to KNEC Chairperson George Magoha was because exam irregularities had gotten the country to a stage where examination papers were being questioned elsewhere and holders were often re-examined deeming the certificates issued by KNEC worthless.

With the top candidate achieving a score of 437 marks as opposed to 449 marks in last years exam and a total of 5190 candidates scoring above 400 marks as opposed to 7560 candidates last year, KNEC is satisfied that every candidate has achieved their hard earned grade. There have been no cancelled results.

Form one selection will begin immediately as form one students will be expected to report to school as from January 9th 2017.

Admission letters should reach candidates by December 25th 2016. To receive results on sms, candidates are advised to send their index numbers to 22252

This is a milestone to the journey of restoring the credibility of the national examinations after years of questionable administration
